In MsNobodyAgain's temporary absence, I am starting this thread. Normal service will be resumed soon, hopefully.

Welcome to the Sad Doctors Thread Participators (SDTP) self-help group.

We have not abandoned all hope of Hestembe, but are concentrating on getting the Gobbyplods back together. Maybe they just need some Merlot?

Please join us, we may have dubious taste in Tv, but we're a friendly bunch.

Hello from me- nothing to add but I do love a bit of snow & no leaves on the tree in May. Oh, sorry wrong hemisphere.

tilliebob · 07/05/2014 21:00

Yeah even my 12 year old was going "How come it's snowing outside the surgery and dry outside that house?" I just said it was a different part of the town! Grin

WaitMonkey · 08/05/2014 13:58

Anyone ?

OED doesn't remind me of Mary. I love Mary, OED is annoying.

WaitMonkey · 08/05/2014 14:01

Al is hooked. Grin

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 08/05/2014 14:04

Mary has her moments, but can be deeply annoying especially when she goes into stalker mode.

bellabelly · 08/05/2014 14:05

Oh goody, comedy breastfeeding conference and Rwandan hate crimes all in the same episode...

bellabelly · 08/05/2014 14:06

Just when I thought they were running out of surreal storylines...

WaitMonkey · 08/05/2014 14:10

Arr, Al and OED. Grin

WaitMonkey · 08/05/2014 14:11

Sick of this bf storyline now. Hmm

Coulsonlives · 08/05/2014 14:12

What's with the canal shots? Not seen it before, have they just got deal?

cinnamongreyhound · 08/05/2014 16:09

Watching now, new doctor is already in the titles!

cinnamongreyhound · 08/05/2014 16:32

Not sure what I think of Naimh, she's a bit forward and eager but already less annoying than yesterday!

Sad patient story :(

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:20

Watching today's now.

What is up with this man? Hearing voices and hallucinations? Has he tried putting an apple in a casserole dish yet?

Selly Heath? Why did he say Selly Heath and not Letherbridge??

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:22

I even re-wound it, he definitely said "Mill Health Centre, Selly Heath".

They cannot change the location of the Mill. What do they think this is, Waterloo Road???

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:27

What??? The Icon is nothing to write home about??? Al is mad! It is famed for its Merlot.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:31

Why is his accent so heavy if he moved here when he was very young? That's not likely.

OP posts:
Coulsonlives · 08/05/2014 19:32

Is there a canal in Selly Heath?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:32

Aha! I knew he was lying. His wife must be pretty dim.

OP posts:
Coulsonlives · 08/05/2014 19:33

Ooh. ooh

Coulsonlives · 08/05/2014 19:35

And ooh

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:36

There is no Selly Heath according to Google maps .

There is a Selly Oak and a King's Heath though. Don't know about the canal situation there.

According to Google there was an episode in 2006 called Sleepless In Selly Heath, so they must have used the name before.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:37

Cross posts!

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/05/2014 19:38

Thing is they always say Letherbridge.

I am unnerved by references to Selly Heath.

Love Zara's expressions.

I find the canal bizarre - surely in the last 10+ years we would have had canal-related-injuries if there was one so close to the Mill??
