I really need to get out more! Does anyone watch this show about parents adopting in the US and waiting for four weeks to see if the birth mum changes her mind? I keep trying to turn it off but it's strangely compulsive!

I've been watching this. Spend most of it on the brink of tears wondering how low you have to be to choose to give up your child before it's even born!

I'm trying to remember the ones I've seen. The gay couple two weeks ago were lovely how they embraced the birth family. I do wonder if the promises they make are fulfilled over time though.

I think this week is the 3rd episode. There was the gay couple first. Then the twin boys who's father was really unsure about giving them up. It would be interesting to see a few years down the line how in touch the families are. What if the birth parents didn't agree with stuff the adoptive parents were doing?

Did you find that couple quite cold tonight? The first gay couple were adorable and I liked the girls family. The wealth they seem to have compared to the birth mothers. It just wouldn't happen like that over here. My heart went out to the mother tonight Sad

I haven't had a chance to watch tonight's episode. Thanks to the football my trashy tv session was delayed and it was a toss up between that and dance moms which is my favourite lol

God, what happened to the posh English nanny show? That hasn't been on fir a good while!

Is it me or have they all been baby girls?

No, there were twin boys a couple of weeks ago.

It was annoying this week that they manufactured all this drama re the birth father potentially coming to claim his daughter. There had never been any indication in the slightest that this would ever happen so it was weird. I think it was because the birth mother was so certain in her choice that to keep up the 'baby wait' drama they had to drum something else up

To me they are more like surrogates. The adoptive family are specific about what they want, the girls never seem to be Desparate with their living situations and in dire need of anything. It's very staged.
