The Blacklist - disturbing (spoiler alert)

So I watched the first episode of Season 1 in which a psychopath goes after people who have abused their loved ones because his mother abused him and does all the things to them that they did to their children/spouses.

i felt a certain amount of sympathy with this character and am now questioning my morals.

I sort of agree. What that mother did to the little boy was horrible. I thought first it was the dad and he was hurting loved ones. Think was more shocked cause it was the mother.
