Wanted to discuss the latest episode but the only thread I could see was people discussing previous series, and I didn't want to spoil anything for them!

So. Let me get this straight. Callie supposedly did groundbreaking surgery for an Olympic athlete, which went devastatingly wrong, yet we didn't know anything at all about it until she gets sued?? Not to mention the pregnancy! !

Seemed a bit pointless the Cristina episode unless it's to pave the way for her to leave ie no future with Owen.
The singing episode was my favourite random episode.

I was distracted by the Star Trekesque uniforms in one of the incarnations. And I don't really care about Cristina that much although it was good to see Ellen Pompero play Meredith at her real age.

Think they were to show it was the future, and the see through phones?!

But there were, what - 3 different futures? And when they started talking about Jackson's hand I had to google to find out what happened to it and then there were lots of nice photos of him all over the internet and then all those subtle time-shifting clues were lost on me

Think 2, then reality?
The one when she told Jackson to watch his hand was reality.
He is rather nice, can see why you might have managed to get distracted :)

I thought there was the future with Owen where she gives him what he wants (ie children) & is thoroughly miserable & then the future where they sort of stay together but without children & she does v well but he's an alcoholic. What was the 3rd?

Was it not all a set up to show it's better if she & Owen go their separate ways?

I thought this was only 2 alternatives.

Going to watch Season 10 Episode 22 tonight yayy

I liked the Christina ones because they're building up to her leaving

I just watched the episode where Christina goes to Switzerland - found it quite emotional! Zurich looked fake though

I somehow managed to convince myself that there were only 22 episodes this season, and so by the end of last episode I was in a world of confusion at how it could be left like that!

I did love that Cristina got to tell Burke what an arse he is.

So, is Amy the replacement Cristina, in that she's joining the cast full time?

I think I did read somewhere that Amy is going to become a regular cast member next season, though I don't think it will be the same without Christina.

I did feel like they could have explored a bit more between Burke and Christina - unless he appears in any more episodes ?

Ah, that's good - I liked Amy in Private Practice.

As much as I love Cristina, and the Mer/Cristina relationship, I trust Shonda enough that I think it will be ok without her. We've got plenty of strong characters that it shouldn't feel like a massive piece is missing.

That said, I do feel sad that we only have two more episodes with her... She's a fantastic character.

So, thoughts on the season finale?

Brilliant. Just perfect way to say goodbye to Cristina.
