Oh, that was ages ago. Her numpty dh backed his car into her while she was pissed and she hit her head. He took her home, thought she was OK but she didn't wake in the morning.

I loved Brookie. Sinbad was awful in Corrie though, as were his entire family, they just didn't work at all as characters.

I think I was the sole Val-lover.

Sinbad will always be Sinbad. He was terrible in Corrie because they tried to make him be someone other than Sinbad. Just like another future guest star, Barry from Eastenders, whatever he does, he will always be that one character in the nation's consciousness.

Yes, she was his daughter, she was the most annoying out of the whole family. Not surprising really - Me Too was just about the worst children's programme I ever remember watching and she was just about the worst character in that as well.

It sometimes works though, when Michelle Collins joined Corrie I couldn't see her as anyone except Cindy Beale and I only think of her as Stella now.

Oh yes, some people can switch (although I still call Cindy Cindy) but Sinbad and Barry will forever be Sinbad and Barry.

Me Too was like competitive bad acting / terrible characters. The taxi driver and the train buffet steward were the least convincing couple in all of fiction ever.

Dh is obsessed with the fruit seller on me too. Is the character blind or just the actor?
