Top Gear and Call the Midwife

Why are these on at the same time?
Wish there was a BBC +1 channel. I know there's always the iplayer but DH and I can't watch things together on that.
Anyone know if either of them are repeated at all?

Think top gear is repeated on Saturday. I banish DH to the computer to watch top gear!

Oh now annoying. Must admit DH and I have our separate iPlayer fests on a Sunday evening as soon as both of them come up!

DS won't wait until next Saturday for Top Gear! I could wait patiently for Call the Midwife.

Last week topgear was on on monday when bbc3 starts think its 7

I've often thought that about bbc - as there is no +1 :(

Itv ch4 e4 sky1 Atlantic itv2 tlc alibi mtv etc all have +1

So why doesn't bbc :(

Can you record one and watch the other?

last nights is repeated wed 11.20pm bb2

We sky+ CTW, then DH and DD (and sometimes me) watch TG at 8pm. Then DD heads to bed, DH watches soemthing on the iPad and I watch CTW.

funny, I have this issue as well. I send the children off to watch top gear with their headphones while I get to watch call the Midwife in peace and quiet. I think it works quite well that way!
