I think it's dull dull dull at the moment. Is it just a one-off?

dull dull dull is about right. 2012 said similar things but a million times better.

That was so tedious. I shan't be watching it again!

I watched it, but to be honest it wasn't gripping me. I don't think it knew what it was - there were serious bits, funny bits and attempted funny bits. It was a bit of an odd mix.

Mind you somebody had to be a mumsnetter - there was a pom bear reference!

My god what a complete mess that was. It was quite frankly the worst TV I've seen in ages. The acting was weird and James Nesbitt was as wooden as ever- and there was nothing r4eally funny about it all. What a disappointment. What were Ch4 thinking commissioning a series.

Just watched this and was disappointed too.I was also confused as to what it was meant to be. As Slattern says it was part funny, part not. What was all that at the end about? Waste of a lot of good actors I'd say.

Dullsville. I was very disappointed...

Watched it last night. Loved it, every little bit, cant wait for the next one.

I liked the way the story was told, loved the music, liked the characters. I rarely enjoy much on tv and this will fill the Sherlock shaped gap in my life forca while.

I managed 15mins.

Thought it was absolute crap.

But it got more serious towards the end
