Well Phil is obviously more conventionally handsome but, to me, Jay is more fanciable. Phil comes over like a big wimp in every scene with Jay, and let's face it - if he can satisfy Gloria there's got to be something about Jay .

I've only seen the first two series on Netflix, and I was crying with laughter a few times. I've heard it goes off the boil a bit in later series.

I think the reason it doesn't seem do good now is because Manny & Luke's voices etc have changed overnight and they seem too old!

I don't think it can go on for that much longer really. The children are growing up and it's not the same. I would've preferred it if the eldest girl had gone to college but they never do in these things. It will be interesting to see if the brainy one does. Having said that, I still love it. The father is the double of my dad so I can't say anything about fancying him and the husband is totally my brother in law!

Did you see them on In the Studio? It's amazing how alike the actors are to the roles. Cameron used to be a clown, Jays wife is the double of Gloria but ten years older and, Gloria really talks like that!

I keep getting Dylan's "under the moonlight" song stuck in my brain! That is one of my fave scenes.

Cameron's straight in real life, that's a big difference between character and real life .

In the current series (5) some of the characters have aged a lot, including Phil. Luke and Manny are proper teens now and unfortunately have lost what made them appealing in the earlier seasons. Very tricky for the writers to know what comes next I suppose. It's so hugely successful they won't want to stop but I worry it'll peter out.

I have all 5 series on my ipad and Julie Bowen gets thinner with each one.

Oh, in answer to the OP - I think Phil is very attractive but I imagine he's ridiculous in bed. Very talky...
