The Killing - Series 1 - a Question

So with the Bridge finished (sob) I've finally given in and have started watching the Killing series 1 on Netflix.
Trouble is .. I seem to have a memory the father killed her?
If this is right Please tell me, as I won't bother watching any further (seen 1st 2 episodes)!

OK thanks! I've just been catching up on the Bridge thread and have to keep quickly avoiding Killing spoilers as people keep bloody referring to it!!! So annoying. That's why I usually steer clear of these threads but couldn't resist. Love everyone's theories and can't wait for series 3. I will persevere with the Killing then. Am already in love with Lund, though no-one will every replace Saga obviously.. !

Different perpetrator in US series (I haven't seen it, just heard) - maybe this is what you were thinking of.

I'm watching for the first time and getting quite irritated that so many people have chosen not to disclose important things to the police.
