I love Michel but I do not agree with him that making an apple and blackberry souffle at a cost of £2 per serving is "cheap" Confused

Agreed! I think they all look a tiny bit pissed?

They always seem to look like that although that may explain why a bottle of £8 wine was described as a "bargain" Grin

Did anyone else think Michel's teeth were just too white? I wondered if it was the lighting in the studio or is he a bit vain.

I thought that apple souffle looked like it could do with another 20 minutes in a hot oven Grin

The apple souffle thing looked awful, and 2 pp is NOT cheap!

I did take the point about wine though - I may stretch a bit further than my usual "under a fiver" choices.

They're always like that, they have absolutely no idea how poor people eat. I agreed with the woman on the show, it's just not possible to eat well if you are cash and time poor. And cash poor isn't 'only' £8 for one meal for a family of four.

Not sure a soufflé was the best follow up pudding to the discussion. Talking of easy to make and frugal, here's a pricey, impossible to do in a hurry, child repellent solution. Ah well, I still love Michel.
