Anyone else hate Walter White but love Breaking Bad.

One of my favourite programmes without a doubt. I've just finished watching it for the second time through.

I despise the character of Walter White! He is a total twat. I feel so sorry for Hank, Marie, Gomez, the kids, Jesse, Skylar - everyone.

But everyone else I know raves about his character. They love him. Are you also a fan of him? Why? Yes, he's fascinating. And i love to watch him. But i don't like him at all. Whenever he comes on the screen, my top lip curls.

I think that Brian plays the part of Walter really well and it's only when you start watching the whole thing from the beginning that you realise how nasty Walter is. Poor Jesse didn't have a chance.

I'm only on series two and trying to decide whether to persevere. I think Walter is a horrible person, there's no reason for most of his awful behaviour. But I'm also struggling a bit with just how druggy it seems to be. I knew what it was about of course but I find the scenes of Jesse and the girlfriend/neighbour whose name escapes me at the moment really disturbing, far worse than the violence everyone I know has raved about it so I feel like maybe I should give it a chance but I find it all so frustrating. They are so incompetent. I have never knowingly committed a crime but I'm sure I could do a better job than they are!

Oh and Skyler has been pregnant forever! I'm sure at the party in series one, just after Walt's diagnosis, she said she had two months left. But in those two months he has supposedly undergone a full course of cancer treatment and been declared in remission, and it's still not her due date as she's been booked in for a C section, I'm assuming before the due date
