Doctors Addicts Anonymous Continued - February Frolics or WALOC?

This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm. It generally brings us lots of WTF; lately it's been more WALOC (what a load of crap). But we love it!

We are nearly into February, Valentines Day is looming, Interflora are already hiring extra staff to deal with the flower orders coming my way Hmm. So come on Gobby and Gobbyplod, it's time you were back together.

Enough with the memory loss. Think of this:

Random car starting thing-if you start a car & then just switch it off it's not good for it(engine can get moisture in it & it might not start next time)
But you don't need to run it for 15mins- a minute or two would do. You're meant to wait 30secs after starting first thing before pulling away. Biscuit

But why would you start it if you were just going to turn it off again? Wouldn't you turn it on and drive it.

That's what confuzzles me. He just sits there revving the engine, most days around 1.45 Grin Maybe he wants to keep the car active? I have never seen that car out of the drive and have lived here 2 years, only his wifes car ever goes out when he has got it out the drive for her, and then only for about half hour a day Confused they are vair mysterious, never talk to us whereas the neighbours the other side are super friendly.

Are they older mad some older people just like to 'turn the engine' over on their cars. I think old cars needed it bur not modern ones.
a cat cult with malteasers as a membership fee sounds good to me ! My parent's had a cat that loved malteasers.

Are they American? We have lots of Americans in our street and they always run their cars for ages! Probably has a lot to do with not paying a lot for petrol Wink
