Anyone remember White Horses?

Have you seen the new Clarks advert - they're using the theme tune to White Horses! Takes me back 30 years!

Haven't seen it, but I remember the programme. The theme tune was the only memorable thing about it, IIRC, apart from, of course, the white horse

No I haven't seen it and nor am I likely to on this continent.
But I loved it, the false eyelashes and bouffant hair do of the main girl, was it French or German. No idea what it was about but it was great.

Black and white Robinson Crusoe anyone, while we're back 30 years?

Doh! I've been hearing that ad and trying to remember which programme the music was from. Didn't think it was maybe actually called White Horses lol!

I used to have the single think it was by someone called Jackie. Also had the Black Beauty theme toon, and the ponced up Mozart album with the theme to Horse of the Year show
Loved Robinson Crusoe too, and anyone remember Belle and Sebastian? That was good.

Ohhhh, I love the theme tune to that programme, in my pre-teen horse mad days, I used to love anything, with any connection to horses!!! I wonder if my dd's will go through that phase?! !!

I love the theme tune - it always reminds me of summer holidays at my great aunts when home from the states as a child. Havn't seen the clarks ad yet.

it wss the first record i ever bought - love the song,and the B side - know all the words,and now ds sings it because of the Clarks advert...can't remember the tv prog though - does anyone remember Sarah & Hoppity and Twizzle ?
