Anyone watch The Three Musketeers? Suitable for 8YO DD?

I just assumed it was a Merlin/ Atlantis replacement, and have recorded it for DD and I to watch on our weekly Friday popcorn and movie night. DD is 8. I've just read some reviews that make me thing it might be unsuitable for her.... Don't want to start watching it with her and then have to stop, don't have time to watch it all before hand. What do people think?

I missed the first 10 mins. It had people in bed, but not too explicit, although personally I was disppointed; swords, costumes all good, storyline dull.

TRy it with her - I can't think of anything she shouldn't see, but I just don't think she will be that interested. But who knows?!

No, not suitable in the slightest. I watched it all and enjoyed it. But there is a reason why it's on at 9pm, post watershed. It's not a replacement for Merlin, that was a pre watershed programme.

Thanks. So- not very good, not very suitable! I'll find us something else. I didn't pay attention to start time etc- just read a review before hand which called it "BBCs New Merlin" and stuck it on the planner. Now to find something else........
