I can't help but feel that Jim was really shitty. But only after Linda has been going 'poke', 'poke', 'poke', 'poke', 'poke', 'poke', 'poke', 'poke' until she got what she's wanted all along - for Jim to show a nasty side. So when he does, she gets all upset about it and plays the victim.

So all things considered, I still find it incredibly hard to have sympathy for her. I think Jim is a dick and I wouldn't want to be in her company, but she is not helping the situation at all.

I think even without the googling people will hopefully work out that Jim was going for a low blow. His act of "what did I say?" is wearing thin, even Dappy who is emotionally stunted to say the least was shaking his head. I have met Jim several times in my previous job and seen him with 2 seperate partners. With both of them they were given 3 airline seats together for a flight to the Falkands 18hr flight with a 2 hr stopover. Having flown both legs and of course takeover gossip I can confirm that he took all the seats with arm rests up to sleep on while his wife/partner slept on the floor. On one occasion I gave her my rest seat at the back.Once a dick ...and they only get bigger.
