Well I wasn't sure how this would go, since good old Richard Poole 'made' the programme really, but I enjoyed it, they did good Smile.

I know can't believe Richard has gone Hmm but I did like it tho! I love death in paradise!!

I thought it was OK but niw its just a murder mystery on tge beach. But I think Ben Miller was excellent and I didn't really warm to the new fella.

It was much better than I expected. I will miss Ben Miller Sad but I would rather the series carries on with the new guy (who I quite like already) than finish altogether.

Didn't bother to watch, the new character is not uptight enough for my taste. He looks like he would rather have a beer than 'a nice cup of tea' Smile.

No he was offered a cup of tea and said "Good God are you mad? It must be 100 degrees!" Grin

I get what you are saying because the whole point was that Richard was the uptight englishman with his suits and refusal to chill and I wasn't sure what they would/could have instead, BUT on the other hand I'm glad they didn't just try to replace Ben Miller with another actor, and since they have killed off Richard they couldn't really have a similar character as his replacement.

Bloomin' Ben Miller, what did he have to go and quit for? Not only has he let us down, he's left poor Camille in the lurch (although I have to say she already seems happy enough to be eyeing up the new bloke).

How could Ben Miller desert us?!
