Just watched this. I know that they have to pick which bits that they want to show, but on her grandmother's death notice there was mention that her father had a half-brother. This was never mentioned in the programme.

Also her grandmother had a sister. Again, she was never mentioned either.

It means that Christina's dad could have half nieces and nephews and full cousins that we never investigated. Surely these family members could help fill in the blanks in the Applegate family history?

And the American one repeats itself over and over again as the re-cap what has happened after each commercial break!

Still it was nice that they got a headstone, if the "I found you mom" was a bit OTT.

Her father's aunt wwas even mentioned in the cards they pulled out to find the plot numbers. It had her married name so should be too difficult to track down.

Yes, it was a bit thin. I prefer the UK ones too although if irc the Martin Sheen one was quite good and Sarah Jessica Parker too.

And I wholeheartedly agree with the over dramatization of the American ones - fgs there's enough there without the cliff hanger music and daft lens flare effects at the start!!

I found it hard to concentrate as I spent most of the time wondering what was wrong with Christina's face. She had a very very smooth forehead for someone in her 40s and a lumpy face.

The SJP one was very good and I loved the uk Kim Catterell one as well. I love to see their parents houses and I'm always astounded that with all their wealth their parents live in very modest houses. It's kinda nice though that they go back to their family homes and they are still the same.

I like watching for the parents houses and for how different the stars look in rl so to speak

I've just watched this on catch up as you don't get any if the annoying breaks or repeated info...It was a bit thin but I still thought it was moving...I prefer the UK ones too but im looking forward to Sheldon Cooper's episode of this US series!
