Quick question...do you need to have watched the previous series of Sherlock to watch this one?

That's it really...DH thinking of watching it. I think we should start from the beginning. DH says we'll be fine starting now.

If you can start from the beginning, you should.

It's probably possible to work out what's going on, but you'll be missing a huge amount if you don't watch the previous ones.
