Sherlock - what did you think of his resurrection?

After all the theories floating about?

I thought it was very clever of them to kill him off in such a mysterious way and then let the Twitterati and bloggers solve the mystery for them.

Rusty, yes, you're probably right! They did seem to make sure to pack in a great deal of possibilities/clues, maybe both to cover their own arses and to keep fans guessing and theorising.

I agree with Thurlow that it doesn't really matter how he did it. One thing that I can't quite leave alone, though, is the little girl who some of the police in the Series 2 finale were sure Sherlock had kidnapped. Sherlock's own explanation of his 'death' covers this, albeit in a rather perfunctory and unconvincing way. It's niggling at me and I'm still wondering if it will turn out to be significant.

I liked that Mary was played by Martin Freeman's real partner. HOWEVER I'm still irked that she was allowed to be declared bankrupt when she lives with a multimillionaire.

Are you all ready for the wedding? :)

Yes Moran was in the Empty House so that made perfect sense.

Moriarty will not be returning if they keep true to the books. They are doing on some sense but not on another.

I feel the interaction with Mycroft and the inclusion of his parents is a bit much and is bound to irk Sherlockians. But I suppose they are trying to make him more 'human' than the books ever did.

I like the comic bits, they add a real sense of fun to it all. Didn't see much of the original stories in the weddings episode. Yes they had the Dwarf with the peashooter and I like the way he refers to previous mysterious cases just like the real Holmes did, just to tease the reader, but the ghost dater? I didn't see too many references this time around unless I'm missing something?

And someone texted me to ask if Mrs Hudon was really married to a double murderer - as if!
