I'm watching this with fondness, is anybody else watching?

I am watching but will never be no where near as good as original.

I wanted to like it but sadly it feels very forced.

I agree with that, I just love the fact that the till is still there and he is wearing the coat

It's quite sweet.

But DJ looks so terribly old and it makes me sad.

It's funny how 30 years ago is yesterday and that the programmes you watched with your parents are so easy to remember

I haven't seen the Kenny Everett show since it finished and I remember the sketches very clearly

It was ok, not a patch on the original but still an enjoyable half hour. Don't think they should go for a series though.

No, I think they've been wise to do it as a one-off special but leave it at that. Rock and Chips was painful.

I enjoyed it, and loved the bit where DJ did Arkwright's stammer but then left it alone. And the till was great.
