watching his stand-up show last night on ITV4. (channel hopping and caught a joke and was hooked)

with DC.

at last a standup she can watch with me who isn't rude,crude,or anything-ist.

cheesy jokes ahoy but we loved him!

AND Dcs been singing 'Flag Hippo' all day!

never seen him before in standup, but we really really are in love with him!

AND he reminds me of Peter Davison!

I love that some of his jokes are similar to things Tommy Cooper would say, you know, old-school stuff.

and nothing wrong with 'normal' jokes and puns. after the farce of the comedy awards where everyone HAD to swear to be 'cool'.

He's hilarious in Not Going Out - trouble is there's other stuff in that which sails a bit closer to the wind. I see the Tommy Cooper comparison - my personal favourite is pen-behind-the-ear. Takes a lot of gumption! A friend of mine has met him and says he's a lovely person in RL.

I just was guffawing (and not a lot makes me laff I can tell you!) at every single pun 'R', 'O', etc, and the jokes, that's my kind of humour.

Yup, see the Davison thing :) Favourite episode of Not Going Out is the baby one. I was literally crying with laughter.
