Its so twisty it's hard to keep up. I am very confused about the doctor and the 'super vampire' who killed the room mate.

Which season? Is season four on again? I missed it first time round on ITV!

Am watching the brilliant 'Originals' and there are story lines that are weird because I missed season four of TVD so would love to catch it!

It's so good it made me cry the last episode...I used to loathe Klaus and then he hinted at a soft underbelly scarred by years rejection and yearning for acceptance from his family...

I much prefer The Originals too but that is starting to twist like TVD. I realise that they have to keep it interesting but the villain seems to change every week. TVD is getting ridiculous but I am glad that Bonnie is back, at least she can change out of those clothes Grin

Not watched the latest episode but I love Vampire diaries and the Originals. Yes, it's silly BUT Damon and Stefan are just so lively to look at. I am loving human Catherine too.

I haven't started watching the new series of TVD yet. I really detested the last series (far too much Elena angst), so it will have to be really good to keep me watching.

The Originals, on the other hand, is the best thing currently on television. Joseph Morgan is surely going to go and be very famous indeed, he's such a good actor.

Love The Originals, Meh TVD, earlier seasons were better, although it is better than the 3rd/4th and I have also had enough of the doppelganger stuff... Me and little sister got a bet that Elena's dad is the Augustine Vamp... IDK... I don't think he is and she thinks he has to be, being as nobody is ever dead when they are meant to be. Really fancy a Biscuit and Brew

I just finished season 4 on Netflix but don't know what channel season 5 is on. We don't have Sky or Virgin but could find it online. Is it worth it? Also what channel is The Originals on?

I've never watched it but I gave the pilot episode of it a go last week. I quite enjoyed it. I've no idea why I haven't tuned in to it before because I quite like vampirey stuff.

I'm watching it but finding it a bit Meh really.. Only watching for Damon. . I do love True Blood with a passion though so it really just doesn't come close to that

I've watched most of season 1 since Christmas, to be honest I don't have much of a clue what's going on, but Damon took his top off in the last episode so I didn't really mind. It was worth sitting through about 16 episodes for.

Season 5 of TVD is on itv2 (although its not been on last couple of weeks)
I like the Originals too. Its showing on syfy and they are repeating from the beginning from this coming thurs.

Can I just ask - I've seen this Originals advertised but do you have to watch Vampire Diaries first or can you just jump straight in with The Originals?

I haven't seen The Originals but I know the pilot episode was part of Vampire Diaries. You would probably enjoy it more if you watched Vampire Diaries first. Plus you can ogle Damon Grin
