did anyone see this heartbreaking documentary? I was a little upset that they did not deal with the issues of child abuse surrounding oxanas case.

yes i did. I sat there stunned by the whole thing. It was very interesting though

wasn't it. i was glad Oxana has found a way of living. She seems an amazing person. it threw up so many issues about nature /nurture.

watched the original in 2003 before i was a mum - so much more upsetting for me now.

It was so heartbreaking...sat there in amazement thinking how sad it all was. The girls story was so sad but she seemed to have come so far after being given so little. I cried, at the bit where she came face to face with her father and sister, couldnt believe that she could still have so much compassion after being treaded so badly. Made me want to hold my lil one tight , how could anyone neglect or hurt there own child? all of the storys were so sad.
