Thought would get in there early in case something exciting happens and we all get carried away.

Just to make my stance clear - I love Alfonso, Vincent and David, falling out of love with Matthew and am really not liking Amy or Mo. Am pretty 'take em or leave em' about the rest Smile

Do you think? I always thought otherwise.
And I definitely don't agree that it's her age that makes her seem bitter, Lucy (certainly not old) also seems to have a lot against Amy, way way before the concealer debate. But the goodbye meal when they sat round and Lucy was harping on about how Amy needs to concentrate more on what's on the inside rather than the outside made me quite cross, purely from the fact that she's been quite outspoken about having cosmetic procedures to enhance various parts of herself. Hypocritical.

MonkeysInTheFog · 01/12/2013 22:37

I started off liking Annabel but went off her when she proved to be a massive bitch.

I loved MW on TWS, liked him in the jungle to start with but I absolutely cannot stand him now. Nasty shit.

Never liked Lucy and liking her less and less as time goes on. Horrible person.

Mittensonkittens · 01/12/2013 22:37

It's all a bit lord of the flies.

They are ganging up IMO. Matthew is just glad to be least hated and to find some little cronies to gossip with. Pathetic. I loathe him and Lucy. And mo.

I don't think Amy's done anything wrong unless there's something we aren't seeing.

I think it's a weird celeb "hierarchy" almost like she hasn't earned her right to be there.

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 01/12/2013 22:39

Anyway, I seem to have invested a lot of time and thought in this matter and am now going to have a shower or something!
But one last thing, Lady the other day Rebecca got really upset and went off and had a cry seemingly on the basis that she was sat with Lucy and Amy and felt decidedly un-beautiful. It did come across fleetingly as envy, but in a very human way.

SideshoBob · 01/12/2013 22:39

I wouldn't say that, Mo, Annabelle, Matthew, and Lucy are the only ones particularly nasty to her. The rest have either commented positively to her or don't seem bothered either way (Steve basically).

Besides which I presume if any of your children were being bullied you wouldn't be satisfied if the school said "well there's a number of people bullying your child therefore they must be right about something".

MonkeysInTheFog · 01/12/2013 22:40

Yes Lucy's got a nerve lecturing Amy on inner beauty. She's posed for men's mags and had procedures. It's not Amy's fault the procedures didn't work.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/12/2013 22:40

I agree, LBE.

I know who I would prefer to spend an evening with between Annabel and Amy. Yes, the show is edited, but when a majority of the camp dislike someone the evidence is pretty damning. Even Alfonso couldn't believe she didn't know right from wrong.

SideshoBob · 01/12/2013 22:41

If we're to go on actual popularity, Matthew is the only one who appears to not actually have any friends in the camp, he just floats around before invariably annoying the people he's associating with in which case he backs off for a bit.

I'm liking Mo less and less too. Crouching on her log like a toad, rasping her bile.

LadyBeagleEyes · 01/12/2013 22:43

Oh well, maybe your're all right about Amy, but I don't like her.
Sorry.
I prefer the more acerbic characters like Lucy, Annabelle and Mathew. Think how dull it would be if they were all as bland as Amy or as nice as Joey and Kian.
Yawnsville, we need to keep the mean ones till the end, it makes the programme far more fun.

GideonKipper · 01/12/2013 22:43

Monkey what a fabulous description!

I agree with you regarding Lucy. Her comments are almost entirely spiteful, and have been since the get go. If it wasn't Amy it'd be whoever this years camp "pretty woman" was.

Amy is clever and brave. But she's also an ace manipulator.

And what the fuck is in that bag, because its true that she takes it everywhere.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/12/2013 22:47

I don't think she is particularly clever. She didn't think how easily her lies would be uncovered.

I like people who have something about them, people you could imagine talking to on an evening out. I can't imagine doing that with Amy or Joey, they are vacuous.

smokeandglitter · 01/12/2013 22:47

I don't think it's Annabel's age at all, TSS.I think it's the fact that none of the people that seem to have a 'problem' with Amy will say it face to face.

I think that it isn't all the people in the camp who have a problem with Amy but most of the women and MW (who from the way the show's shown it hasn't hit it off with many of them). It isn't just about being jealous and bitter, it seems to be more a ganging up thing. And I agree Monkeys, I like Mo less and less too.

Not disappointed Annabel has gone, today's trial made me want to rip my her hair out. If any of the people in camp had brought up their problems with Amy in a mature way I would be fine with them disliking her but apparently they'd rather bitch to the other campmates (and the cameras) instead, so: I don't like them.

smokeandglitter · 01/12/2013 22:49

I don't think Joey is vacuous - I bet he could talk for ages about his fav pair of CK boxers! He just isn't academically clued up. I'd rather spend my time having a laugh with him as a nice guy than MW as a wind-up.

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 01/12/2013 22:55

Oh okay okay, I'm still watching with chicken arm on ITV2, but if they had shown Annabel that footage that was just played on there people may be feeling differently. She actually does talk about having a nice holiday with her daughter in the posh hotel as she doesn't get to see her very much.
So in fact, she DID say that. As much as everyone says that, but then Annabel expressly says that she never said it. Liar.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/12/2013 22:56

I just don't think I would find him funny, so I couldn't have a laugh with him. He is vacuous, he lacks intelligence. I don't find that funny.

clam · 01/12/2013 22:57

What is the fascination and obsession with Joey or Kian to win? Nice enough blokes but not much else to them that I can see.

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 01/12/2013 22:57

And yet more outrage from me, they should have shown it in the main show too, just to balance it out.

LadyBeagleEyes · 01/12/2013 22:57

It was Lucy that said that about the Versace, Annabelle just agreed it would be nice.

GideonKipper · 01/12/2013 22:59

You're right, it's more entertaining but not good for my BP. I've been ranting at the tv the whole way through, with DH giving me Hmm Grin looks. I said days ago that Lucy was a hypocrite going on and on about Any and the beauty queen suff, because she's been willing to strip to her skimpies for 'lad's mags' in the past. Then on This Morning last week they mentioned that Lucy has also been a judge at Miss GB or some beauty contest in the past. She's all full of pigging principles until it comes to pocketing the money herself.

And that snidey little 'We were quite happy without you here. Oh sorry!' really pissed me off.
