Will anyone be watching tonight at 9?

It's probably my favourite programme on television, and last week's episode was a great one. Graham and his sisters were so lovely. And Xah'Nae was adorable.

I love the mixture of drama, medicine'sometimes comedy, and humanity.

I'm an avid watcher. DP is not so Ill often watch it upstairs. It the only thing I try and catch every week and often crack on with the ironing whilst its on (its the only thing that gets me through it!!!)

The little girl last week was absolutely gorgeous, same age as my Dd so I was watching with a really heavy heart to begin with...such a lovely outcome though bless her!!

Love watching it, are you going to watch Trauma 2 on ,I think 2nd or 3rd December? About new treatment of trauma and treatment at Southampton Hospital, one of the new major trauma centres.

What channel will that be shown on?

just about to post a thread about it, love it! Bit confused though... if you have a transplant do you get the other persons tastes and likes etc or is that bloke wrong Hmm Hmm Hmm

Not sure but it is one of the terrestrial channels. There was a part one in August/September which was a real tear jerker.
24 hours is a bit of a busmans holiday from me but I do find I learn things from it and I love it.

Just found it. Will be very good I think. It shows what we have learnt as a result of the war in Afghanistan which has radically changed how we treat trauma and has resulted in lives saved that would otherwise have been lost.

Can someone please explain to me the bizarre voice-overs? They seem totally incidental and pointless - at one point I checked whether I had accidentally pressed aural descriptions on the remote....

ViviPru · 28/11/2013 21:11

OMG I'm a complete and utter simpleton. I DID have the aural descriptions switched on after all!!!!

V proud to say that DH and I have been on it! Kings is our local, and I took him into A&E there. We were approached as soon as we sat down to wait, and asked if we'd be willing to be filmed. We were then mic'd up, and 'security' type cameras followed our every move. It was v unubtrosive though, we didn't see anyone else from the production crew until we stepped out of the hospital, when they came and collected the mics.
We were only on the programme for ten seconds!
