Big Cats Week

i was supposed to record this as we were out at a school concert. but i forgot
we need to know ....
did the baboons get Toto or did he escape??

I missed the beginning but got the end

Toto escaped but at the end, a roaring male lion came very close to them. Luckily the mother hid in the long grass (with Toto sticking his head up behind her!) and the lion didn't see them. Dd was screaming at the TV!

At the end, they said tomorrow Toto will face danger again (and it showed footage of him scampering around on his own it seemed).

thank you...we can sleep without worrying about him for another ngith.
the kids are raelly into this, i hope he survives the week!

Poor little Toto.

Me and DD have really enjoyed watching this each evening.

yes it's been fab. I wish they would put more programmes like that on at 7pm - loved the way all the really gory bits were not shown so it was perfect for little ones.

Bbc at it's best! My ds was so distraught I've been printing off pictures of Toto for him to take up to bed.

My ds and dd1 love this too. Luckily they don't understand the implications of Toto being lost forever. We are watching it uncut on bbc3 now. (i have the remote on hand in case it gets too gory )

we were on holiday and watched it every night, but ate out on the Friday night, so got my sister to text us what happened .... couldn't bring myself to tell my two that Toto had gone ..... my youngest had been drawing pictures of Toto and his fluffy back all week!! aahhhh.

But yes, Toto is gone. They couldn't find his mother, then she was spotted two days after filming ended. W/o Toto. Lions the most likely culprit.
