Strange episode of 24 Hours in A&E

Did anyone see this this week, the episode with Christine and Dave? I was very struck by their relationship as described by Dave. Wondered what others thought (trying to not put words in people's mouths!).

I saw it. Truly odd. He's weeping at her bedside yet saying how she's made his life hell. He's had affairs. I think I heard that she'd once hit him. She says she wants to split up with him every five years.

Totally dysfunctional.

Yeah. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He's at her hospital bedside, she's unconscious and he's going on and on about what a terrible life he's had as her partner, slagging her of and having a complete pity party for himself. Then he confesses about having an affair.

And then she comes 'round and it's all like a normal relationship.
