just experienced Ina Garten for the first time - God she's smug.

have a watch a second time, and you can marvel at the fact that she laughs after every sentence she utters, never actually cooks anything, and only ever has gay friends over to dinner - and she gets them to arrange the flowers before she feeds them!

We love her in our house just for the amount of butter and salt she uses.

Her cooking is OK I s'pose. It's just that she keeps rubbing our noses in her privileged lifestyle. Her doting hubby, how wonderful her table is going to look and how much her rich looking, cashmere clad friends are going to enjoy themselves. She also seems to emit this nervous chuckle at the end of every sentence when talking to one of them. I don't care just cook some grub you silly moo.

Back in 2011, she made headlines for repeatedly refusing to meet a child who was suffering from cancer, as her schedule was too busy. He had watched her show whilst undergoing chemotherapy.

We tend not to watch her in our house as DH rants about ignoring cancer children at the TV, which gets wearing after the first few minutes. Agree about her being hugely smug.

Yy, very smug, plus most of her food is a heart attack on a plate, burgers with a great big dollop of butter as the filling?!

How utterly horrible of her not to take a little time to visit a suffering child who admired her so much.. I had no idea... She does however have time for her millionaire neighbours. Bitch, I really hate her now.
