...whatever that is supposed to mean.

And judging by the song choices, no-one else knows either.

At least no-one is doing 'Hey Jude'. Grin

X Factor 2013 songlist – Week 6

Hannah Barrett – Satisfaction

Luke Friend – Your Song

Nicholas McDonald – Someone Like You

Rough Copy – Viva La Vida

Sam Bailey – Something

Sam Callahan – Faith

Tamera foster – Diamonds Are Forever

LooseScrew should be doing 'Diamonds are Forever', surely??

But we have Adele- BINGO!

ICBINB is going to be in double denim, and rocking a fake guitar, isn't he?
(and it really is time he left).

Now I need to finish ds's unpacking. Although the hotel he stayed in, in Shanghai, did most of his washing- which was niceGrin

I LONG for ICBINB doing George Michael. so to speak.
Yay for Raah Minor being safely home.
I shall go find the much depleted NN list.

Disappointing song choices.
Another ballad for Tamera, why don't they give her something more modern.
Boooooring.

Raahh · 16/11/2013 18:00

I wonder if they had already picked the song choices- and were obliged to do 'Your Song' even though Joan is no more? Because she would obviously have done it Ellie Goulding style. Grin

I think they all have the wrong songs, really. They need mixing up.

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 16/11/2013 18:02

YY some odd choices
And is it George harrison's 'something'? Grrrr.
I saw the front cover of the Sun today and it was confidently reporting Loose Screw as the 'Winner' of the XF. I think we're all losers though really.

LadyBeagleEyes · 16/11/2013 18:07

If she wins she'll reach the heights of Jane Macdonald.
Can't see Simon wanting her as a winner.

SuePurblybilt · 16/11/2013 18:10

Those dizzying heights Grin. Loose Wimmin. Maybe a guest presenter slot on 60 minute makeover. Celebrity Cash in the Attic.
Cooooo

BOF · 16/11/2013 18:12

What is Viva La Vida? It doesn't really sound quintessentially British, does it?

Did you all see Louis on 8 out of 10 cats? He claimed he'd never had any of his boys in the bottom.

A likely story...

SuePurblybilt · 16/11/2013 18:13

I'm terribly afraid that it is COLDPLAY

Raahh · 16/11/2013 18:21

BOF -it's ^Coldplay*

Bloody Coldplay

I'd like Tameeeeeeera to get locked up for a Chezza-style misdemeanour. Draggy could take her place on two conditions: 1 she isn't allowed to win; 2 she has to be in the final because at least she was entertaining.

If the X factor producers are reading this and wish to use my plan I will have Barry for one night as payment.

IamInvisible · 16/11/2013 19:38

I wish Tamera would do something more current too.

I finally managed to catch up with last week's this morning. Don't know why I bothered really, it was crap and its hard work without the thread!

Lorelilee · 16/11/2013 19:42

I will be launching stuff at the telly watching that muppet ICBINB murdering 'Faith'. GRRRR.

honeybeeridiculous · 16/11/2013 19:43

Right, another night of excitement, I'm alone again rest of family have a life got my M & S walnut whips and a pot of tea, not too rock and roll is it?! Grin

BOF · 16/11/2013 19:48

I've got a lovely MNer friend staying tonight with her husband, so unless we can get the blokes bonded immediately, I might not be able to post much without looking rude.

honeybeeridiculous · 16/11/2013 19:50

Send the blokes down the pub!

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 16/11/2013 19:57

Talking of Draggy, I have to walk past a huge poster of Nanfucker every sodding day. Bloody musicals.

ArbitraryUsername · 16/11/2013 19:58

I need to get my ipad charged or come up with some ingenious plan to charge it downstairs while watching tv. I only have 2% battery and cannot possibly watch this without this thread!

I'm with you on Coldplay hate. The mere thought of Coldplay brings me out in hives.

Raahh · 16/11/2013 20:04

Great British song book- what bollocks.Grin

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 16/11/2013 20:04

Do you not have a removable charger? Shock

Joy - here we go.

How many bingos can we have for 'you made it your own'

ArbitraryUsername · 16/11/2013 20:04

I've found an extension cable and stolen DH's super charger (well his ipad air charger, which is more powerful than the iPod charger I managed to find myself; I was actually losing power while trying to charge with that one).

They seem determined to choose songs to make tamera seem utterly irrelevant, which seems to be at odds with their insistence on telling us she's only 16.

I am glad I don't actually have to listen to Joan sing this week. But I really couldn't care less about most of the rest of them. At least, ICBINB will be reliably awful.

Raahh · 16/11/2013 20:05

Oh for fox sakeGrin

stop it Dermot

honeybeeridiculous · 16/11/2013 20:05

ArbitraryUsername · 16/11/2013 20:05

I don't have a plug socket near my comfy xfactor watching couch position. That's what the problem is. Hence the extension lead.

Also I could only find an iPod charger, and they don't actually charge ipad2s.
