This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

It's getting colder. Patients tend to spread the love and STDs in this season of goodwill. The Mill and Campus are over run with patients Shock. Everyone needs to pick up the pace...

Yes, but I don't DO panto. I hate it with a passion, therefore it will be Christmas themed.

Raahh · 05/12/2013 13:47

Well- it's typical, isn't it?

DD2 is asleep, so for the first time in ages I could watch live.

Except I can't because our tv/internet has been off since 7.30 this morning.
Bloody Virgin. Xmas Angry

Tinternet seems to be working in fits and starts, but have been stuck watching Dora dvds all morning

Raahh · 05/12/2013 13:48

And happy birthday to the Master Nobodys!

MsNobodyAgain · 05/12/2013 13:49

Gobby looks rough.

Thanks Raahh. I think this awful weather is playing stuff up. My Sky has gone off twice this morning.

Dora should be eaten by the crocodile

Who keeps a picture of a person they last met 25 years ago on their desk?

OP posts:
Raahh · 05/12/2013 13:59

I have wished many deaths on Dora. And sodding Diego and his baby jag-wahhh.

MsNobodyAgain · 05/12/2013 14:01

Can you say 'jag-wahhhhhh?'

fuck off Diego

(waffling, in the absence of tv)

Funny Dora related story- one night last week, i dreamt my mum had a baby. And it looked like Dora. it had a thick black fringe, and it freaked me out.

Yes, the hair was what freaked me out. Not my 62 year old mother having a babyGrin. That seemed entirely normalXmas Grin

bellabelly · 05/12/2013 14:02

That guy sounds like Rene off Allo allo.

MsNobodyAgain · 05/12/2013 14:05

Xmas Grin Raahh

bella agreed. What IS that noise Heston made?

OP posts:
bellabelly · 05/12/2013 14:07

MrsN, not sure but it made me really laugh! I'm enjoying Heston and Valerie's thespy nonsense!

MsNobodyAgain · 05/12/2013 14:11

A few of us on this thread would like to pumpkinise you Val.

"I'm walking home, that thing is a death trap" Grin

OP posts:
bellabelly · 05/12/2013 14:13

They should just drop the stupid sub-plots for a week or two and focus on the panto rehearsals. Grin

Weknowwhoyouare · 05/12/2013 15:15

I liked the 'quick snog and walking home in one shoe, I don't think my character would do that' Grin dh said 'but isn't she Cinderella' like Val should make sense Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/12/2013 15:27

Aaagghh! Just watching now as just as I started watching live I had to go out and take down a load of dangerous fence panels with the next door neighbour. The other side looks like it is about to come down too. Sad

This guy is sending the emails to his work colleague, isn't he?

I love love love Valerie! I am Cinderella!

curlyclaz13 · 05/12/2013 17:02

just catching up, if that woman is obese I must be morbidly obese Sad
I think he loves her thats why he is trying to get her healthy.
I don't like pantos either MsNo, I think I will let OH do that bit of parenting fun.
poor Heston has created a monster in Valerie playing cinderella Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 05/12/2013 21:34

I've had a horribly manic day including being summoned to the heads office after being a non-compliant governor AGAIN! Haven't even had chance to watch yet as the day hasn't got better.

Happy birthday to your boys MsNobodyAgain! Funnily enough I had a moment with ds2 today asking him what happened as I'm sure it was yesterday I was sitting in his nursing chair feeding him in the cold dark early hours and now he's a very independent 3 year old, he told me 'I growed'!

I love panto, we're going as a family on 27th, 8 of us in a row Grin without grumpy 12 year old dss

Would be lovely to see a happy Gobby Christmas.

We've had some hideous weather today! This morning was beautiful as the sun came up but I got snowed on before that! This afternoon the wind was incredible and it looked like it was night at 2pm :(

Pleased to say I have never watched Dora but dh tells me that jake and the neverland pirates is a Dora rip off and I don't mind that!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/12/2013 22:03

No no no, Dora is hugely aggravating (particularly the jag-waar pronunciation which makes me want to hurl objects at the TV), whereas Jake and the Neverland Pirates is saved from being too twee by the simply divine Sharky & Bones. I even bought their CD, supposedly for DD but really for me.

Why did they say you were a non-compliant governor? Because they insist on having meetings without consulting you on the time? Anyway, doesn't a governor trump a head?

I love Panto too, we're off on the 30th to see The Hoff play The Hoff Captain Hook in Peter Pan.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/12/2013 22:04

Meant to give you these: Thanks Wine Cake cinnamon. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

cinnamongreyhound · 05/12/2013 22:05

I said I'm non compliant because I refused to sign a users agreement because I felt it was ridiculous! She has agreed that I have several valid points and is going to amend it for governors but is still expecting staff to do as they are told as they chose to work there Confused

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/12/2013 22:08

At Hollywood Studios, Disneyworld in Florida, they have a Disney Junior puppet show. Part of the show is Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and they have puppets of Sharky and Bones singing a song. The first time I saw it I acted like a starstruck teen. I love them.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/12/2013 22:09

Oh ignore her, cinnamon, you did the right thing. Heads are answerable to governors, not the other way around.

outtolunchagain · 05/12/2013 22:10

I also think Gobby is a fantastic actress but I am so bored of the memory loss storyline

WhoKnowsWhereTheMistletoes · 05/12/2013 22:29

Happy Birthday to the boys MsN. It does go fast doesn't it, my DS will be 10 soon and I'm thinking about secondary school .

Didn't watch again today, was helping set up the school Christmas Fair from 1, then running it and clearing it up till 5, so a tiring day.

Hope everyone is safe and well, we haven't really been affected by the bad weather down here in Hampshire, but hearing some worrying stories from round the country tonight.
