This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

It's getting colder. Patients tend to spread the love and STDs in this season of goodwill. The Mill and Campus are over run with patients Shock. Everyone needs to pick up the pace...

I LOVE Arthur. It is just a fab Christmas film. I love it more than the dcs. I am gearing up to watching 'Elf' Grin

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:19

Does FOD know everyone in the village then? Is it part of her job spec?

Grrrrrr. Valerie.

MsNobodyAgain · 21/11/2013 20:20

Grin I do love a good .

I was very childishly entertained by all the smutty dialogue double entendres in yesterdays panto auditions.

We could just have a wide open gob in honour of Gobby. It would have to have food in it though to be a true reflection of the character.

But not a tortilla, MsNGrin

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:25

Bloody hell- why doesn't Chris concentrate on doing his job, instead of endlessly doing charity sgit, that is always shit

Grin
Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:25

see- I can't even spell shit.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:27

The girlfriend is awful. Terrible fringe.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:28

Butt out FOD.

ClayDavis · 21/11/2013 20:29

at the idea of Gobbyplod's helmet.

Haven't seen, Arthur Christmas. Might have to add it to the list. Am half toying with the idea of whiling away the long, cold December evenings with a different Christmas film every night. A sort of Advent calendar of Xmas films. May end up completely fed up with the idea of Christmas by the time it gets to 25th December though.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:30

Jizz hated Aron, and all the annoying stuff with the money he owed. This is such a stupid turn around, even for Doctors.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:31

I would love a Christmas advent film doo-dah. But dh would get fed up by about the 2nd

Grin
ClayDavis · 21/11/2013 20:32

I think I must have missed the whole Jizz/Aron thing the first time round.

ClayDavis · 21/11/2013 20:33

I can see it lasting about a week max before I get fed up and just break out Muppets Christmas Carol and then never watch another film until next Christmas.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:35

It was east to miss Jizzon. As it was a complete non-starter, all she did was moan about money, and he was very smarmy.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:36

easy- I am using a different laptop- the keyboard is smaller, so I keep hitting all the wrong keys. But the space bar worksGrin

ClayDavis · 21/11/2013 20:36

I stopped watching for about 3 years until the beginning of this year. I think it might have been during that time.

Raahh · 21/11/2013 20:44

I wonder how Aron will feel about his ex no longer having the lower half of her body, though? Grin

The camera angles, pc screens and mahoosive bags are getting silly nowGrin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 21/11/2013 20:47

I have never seen Arthur Christmas. I think I need to get it.

This week in an effort to cheer myself up I have bought outdoor lights for the house that I have wanted since we moved here 7 years ago.

And a stepladder when I realised I couldn't actually put them up without steps.

I am desperate to put them up but I know that I can't before December. I also don't want to be the first in the street.

I bloody love Christmas.

HarrietJones · 22/11/2013 07:32

Everyone is using Ood names for their name changes and I don't like it so have reverted to this one.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/11/2013 08:01

Oh you will always be the one true Ood to us.

MsNobodyAgain · 22/11/2013 09:21

Should I know why people are changing to Oods? I am so dumb. As Anne says, there is only one true Ood to us.

DD forgot to tell me her friend had asked to walk to school with her today and she had said yes. DD had forgotten she was going to her Grandmas for a sleepover. So I answered the door to her friend in my full glory (unbrushed hair, thermals, fleece and slippers) and wondered what the heck she was doing at my house.

Blush

Stupid comfy bed wear. And the neighbour across the way saw me and she was all dressed and groomed. Aaaargh!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/11/2013 09:24

It is the 50th Anniversary of Dr Who, MsN. Hence the abundance of Oods.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/11/2013 09:25

I bet the groomed neighbour was actually thinking "I wish I were still in my pyjamas", MsN.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 22/11/2013 09:26

Yes, why are there Oods everywhere? Tis most disconcerting. I'm guessing it's some sort of Dr Who thing? I've never really watched it.

Sorry to have been AWOL, haven't seen it since Monday (did stick it on late last might but fell asleep).

MsNobodyAgain · 22/11/2013 09:30

Ah, that makes sense. I don't watch Dr Who, it is too WTF?! Grin

who it has not exactly been a cracking week on Doctors so I am not surprised it sent you to sleep.
