My hairdresser told me the celebs are meant to be really good this year, as in people you've actually heard of. I've heard of Rebecca Adlington and Paul Gascoigne from your list but not the others.

Can't imagine why anyone would let someone with Gazza's MH issues onto this particular programme.

So we can expect fishing rods and Kentucky fried chicken?

I agree about Gazza. It reminds me of the Victorian days when people with MH issues were used as circus exhibits. He is the sacrificial lamb. The TV company should be ashamed of themselves

I can't believe they would allow Gazza in. There were stories in the papers that they wouldn't allow Michael le Vell in as they didn't believe he'd get through it without needing to drink. I would have thought that even more so for Gazza.

Oh I do hope Gazza doesn't do it. He seems such a tragic figure - I don't want him to be made more tragic, IYSWIM. He's not robust enough for it.

I agree that I would be amazed if Paul Gascoigne went in. There were pictures of him looking very frail and poorly only the other day.

If tv companies are going to stoop so low as to allow someone as obviously fragile as Paul Gascoigne to be exploited in the name of entertainment, then anyone who has an ounce of morals should be boycotting watching this and making their objections heard.
