Me and the dc have just enjoyed this. Very nice and calm.
Brought back lovely memories of the books. :)

Although does anyone else find themselves saying it in a thick Scottish accent? Blush

We are watching it too. It's a bit strange, bits of it look like a boring old soap opera. I actually briefly wondered if it was take the high road when I switched it on.

MrPricklepants · 03/11/2013 17:49

Having said that my DS is totally engrossed!

Theas18 · 03/11/2013 17:52

Katie morag on the tv? How absolutely wonderful!
Some of my favourite books :)

QueenFuri · 03/11/2013 18:09

I loved it! Kate Morag was my favourite book series as a little girl. DS2 liked i too, though I agree did remind me of High Road Grin

Yes, I love reading it in a thick Scottish accent. I'm Scottish and go all island-Scottish when reading it. Programme was good.

I loved it. Don't need to put on the thick Scottish accent even, I already have it :D dd loves the books, I remember my mum reading them to me when I was wee.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 03/11/2013 19:48

I wanted to love it but thought it was a bit boring (so are the books though WinkShock)

I liked the Scottish accent on cbeebies that wasn't miss hoolie to tell us a stoorie

storynanny · 04/11/2013 10:59

I watched it and thought the little girl who p.ayed Katie was just like the book Katie, but I still enjoyed the books more especially the illustrations. However I am looking at it through the eyes of a 57 year old!
Im going to knit the jumper for my little great niece.

Elsiequadrille · 05/11/2013 00:00

Had no idea it had been televised. Lucky niece, storynanny!

storynanny · 05/11/2013 19:56

Elsie, apparently they have made 26 episodes by writing new stories
