So, Halloween is nearly upon us. Which of the Halloween smileys suits the Doctors cast and it's viewers best (bear with me, this is tenuous):

- Mandy (FOD), will make a pleasant witch (can we burn her at the stake?)
- Karen (Gobby), she's got a mouth that big.
- Howard (TBFE), tough times for him atm.
- Heston, you sly old dog you.
- everyone elses face on hearing about Hestons prowess.
- Kevin, in awe of Heston, poor bloke.
- Barry, on being turned down by his latest love interest.
- Jimmi, on not realising it's Halloween andthentalkingtooquicklyandquietlytocoveruphisembarrasment
and - us, the Doctors watchers. WTF?!
- Mrs T. She doesn't do Halloween.

DS is back. So tired he could hardly walk from the coach to the car. Apparently had a great week. Just off to excavate the contents of his backpack.

Just seen someone asking where someone else had read that Jas was pregnant in rl, did you seriously have to have read it somewhere? It was blimmin obvious today wasn't it?

I watch Doctors every day and I never noticed Jas was pregnant.

I didn't notice until someone on here mentioned it golden but it seems so obvious now.

People are asking her on her FB page if she's pregnant and she has said she is not going to confirm or deny. I can't believe she's not, the hiding tactics have become very obvious in the last week or so.

What? She is obviously almost ready to drop, so why would she not just say "yes"? Bizarre.

Just watched today's - they definitely needed a bigger make up bag to cover the bump

Thought with all the talk re fighter being top fit & making the club & 'taking over' that it was going to be a war film 'plucky piano player loses hands' moment but they went all sensible at the end stopping the fight

Daniel is the freckle king - every time I see him he has more v disconcerting when you adore freckles but think his character has been a git in the past

Pretty sorry that Gobby saw her reflection - does this mean no more wtf flashbacks! I really want to see her & GobbyPlod's first meeting/romance

I quite like Jack in a 'too young to be my son but closer to that than fancying' type way - totally forgot about him & Zara!

Valerie was a temp receptionist, who knew TBFE and 6tl from working at the PCT previously.

She was desperately lonely and wanted to be friends with everyone, but had foot-in-mouth disease and rubbed everyone up the wrong way.

I, on the other hand, detested Stalker Val. She wasn't funny- just intensely irritating.

Anyone else find the 'other story' just annoying, and getting in the way of the Gobby story. I want more WTF flashbacks

Valerie, she was too WTF all the time. There was no balance. And is anyone really that thick skinned they don't realise everyone dislikes them?

I know- i couldn't warm to her at all. I couldn't feel sorry for her, just annoyed. She'd better not be in it long.

Jimmi definitely doesn't need another Princess Bubblegum.

But i don't think Jizzi is a good idea.

I thought Valerie was awful most of the time, but occasionally felt sorry for her, there was one episode where she got over emotionally involved with a female patient (long lost relative or something, can't quite remember, blonde woman) who wanted nothing more to do with her in the end.

Zara and Jack? WTF? Before my time. I prefer her in bitch mode too.

I didn't like the martial arts story today, but DH is diabetic so it is a sensitive subject.

Jimmi would pass out if he saw the state of my house at the minute.

Zara being nice and sympathetic to Karen is totally in character - don't forget that when she was still very nervous about letting Daniel see Joe it was Karen she trusted as chaperone. She let Karen see her vulnerable side, so I think Karen actually means a lot to her (despite having her listed as Gobby on her phone).

Anne- you are probably right about Zara. I loved it when we saw the Gobby thing on the phone- brilliant.
