So, Halloween is nearly upon us. Which of the Halloween smileys suits the Doctors cast and it's viewers best (bear with me, this is tenuous):

- Mandy (FOD), will make a pleasant witch (can we burn her at the stake?)
- Karen (Gobby), she's got a mouth that big.
- Howard (TBFE), tough times for him atm.
- Heston, you sly old dog you.
- everyone elses face on hearing about Hestons prowess.
- Kevin, in awe of Heston, poor bloke.
- Barry, on being turned down by his latest love interest.
- Jimmi, on not realising it's Halloween andthentalkingtooquicklyandquietlytocoveruphisembarrasment
and - us, the Doctors watchers. WTF?!
- Mrs T. She doesn't do Halloween.

Haven't seen yesterdays yet. Will have to catch up after work.

I have hugely cocked up. I'm supposed to have a sickness absence meeting with HR. For some reason I had it in my head that it's next Friday. Have just rechecked the letter and it's not. Its tomorrow. And I can't get hold of the union rep to see if he's even available then. This is really not going to go down well. If I have to cancel it.

Oh dear Clay. Hope you can get that sorted. Damn and blast our memories for playing tricks with dates.

I'm caught up now. Friday was boring. Yesterdays episode was worth watching just for the end bit (I can't get invested in Jizmi, it's just beyond belief).

I love the Gobbys. I wanted to shout at Gobbyplod "get her to A&E!". Poor Karen . She's such a good actress too. Should be some good episodes coming up.

By the way Raahh meant to say I hope all is well with DS and you. That trip has come round quick. Hope he enjoys it.

Am trying to catch up - having a very strange day.

Didn't sleep a wink last night with worrying about ds's trip, and dd2 woke up at 3am, then dd2 fell out of bed at 4am- so by then everyone was up

Fortunately dh had the morning off, and let me go back to bed whilst he took dd1 to school. I feel a bit confused.But that could be the drugs

I will have gained 3 stone by the time he gets back.

Bet they were so excited raah I'd be eating biscuits too if it was one of mine though

I didn't watch the Indian Doctor yesterday and out after Doctors ( to the real doctors again) so might catch up tonight. Also have masterchef to catch up on.

they are very nice biscuits -I get them from the Asian grocers, they have pistachio nuts in and are 4 boxes for a £1

I am also trying to get dd2 to drink the movicol solution she has to have. She's suffering really badly from constipation, but she refuses to drink anything other than water or milk.

So getting her to drink a foul tasting lemony mix is proving tricky. I may resort to spooning it in which will take ages
