just started watching this from episode one

slightly annoyed as Berkshire county council doesn't exist to the best of my knowledge , and bracknell is run by bracknell first council

is it worth watching if they make this level of error?

Isn't it intentional?

Or am I missing your point? It's a comedy, not documentary...

superbagpuss · 18/10/2013 19:05

hasn't made me laugh once yet?

tbf I was being light hearted but it annoys me when they get basic facts wrong

Ah, ok. I was wondering!

I didn't find the first episode at all funny. In fact I got my book and started reading it whilst DH watched it.

It's got better though. Last time (episode three I think) I laughed AND put down my book to watch!

BooItTooJulia · 18/10/2013 19:14

Oh and I actually said to DH " you didn't laugh once" after the first episode.

Of course, when I did laugh, I was told to not be so sniffy and hasty...!

Rattitude · 18/10/2013 19:16

Episode three was really funny, I thought... Especially the lasagna recipe with peas.

racmun · 18/10/2013 19:17

It does improve and i thought this week's episode was really good.

It's fictional of course, so probably didn't want to use a real Council name.......

I refuse to watch something that has such a shite title

It gives me the toothgrind every time I see it

movingaway · 18/10/2013 19:31

We just watched the first 3 episodes last night. It definitely gets funnier, I really enjoyed it.

It got progressively better, episodes 3&4 were brilliant, just catching up on iplayer.
