Hi,just bought The Hunger Games on dvd,would it be suitable for my ds aged 9 to watch with me this evening?

It's brilliant and the books are even better however my nearly 11 year old refuses to watch. Can't remember exactly but don't think it was gory more upsetting because of the premise behind it. Is it a PG or a 12?

Think it might be best to watch it first.
It isn't really gory at all but definitely upsetting content!
It's really really good though :)
