FYI I was just watching Melanie (ye had nicknamed her Homeless Nolan!) being interviewed on an Irish chat show. She said everyone's phones were taken off them at judges houses because producers wanted the homecoming vt to be authentic. But she flipped out and insisted she get her phone to speak to her mum (when she hadnt got through) She said she told her mum not to meet her at the airport because she didnt want the homecoming video. So thats why she wasnt seen on that part of the show last week (or her version anyway)
