This is a thread for all fans of the daytime soap 'Doctors', BBC1, 1.45pm.

If you like a world more WTF than Willy Wonkas, you're in the right place. Please join in whether you are a regular, a newbie or a lurker. It's good fun Grin. Doctors brings us Austen week next week. Doctors and Austen? How?

100 already you say? My goodness, what a chatty bunch.

Is it just me, or is it totally unbelievable that Zara would be into Jane Austen in such a big way?

I'm exhausted. Went straight from the school run to spend 2 and a half hours walking round the secondary school Ds will probably end up going to. We all had to go, dd1,and dd2 included as we had no-one to look after them. DD2 was pretty well behaved. My feet hurt.

It was nice to see some of last year's year 6 kids having settled in so well, made me feel better (especially after getting the 'oi!!! you've only gotTHREE WEEKS to submit your application' get on with it, e-mailGrin).

What's tits & tea then? Would my DH enjoy it?
I missed the beaker/penis thread-what's that all about?

Report
MsNobodyAgain · 10/10/2013 22:01

told Grin I've no idea what tits and tea is but I'm laughing at you asking if he'd enjoy it.

The beaker thread is in classics. Just started out as someone asking if anyone elses DH kept a beaker by the bed to dunk their bits in after sex. I couldn't comment as I've erased ex-h from memory and can't remember the last time I saw a penis.

Sigh, I need cake.

Noooo-that is awful. Surely they should do it before sex.( I'm off to find that thread)
Glad your hospital visit went well, MsNo & thanks for the lovely new thread.

I am in soft play hell. It is hell because I wasn't planning to come, so have not brought a book with me. I am not wearing socks under my boots and it is like an ice box in here. On the plus side, the tea is cheap and dd2 appears to be sting with another child without screaming at her. She's usually an anti social madam( like her mother) Grin

Report
Raahh · 11/10/2013 09:55

Sting? Stupid phone- playing! If she was stinging children I'd have a problemGrin

Report
AnneEyhtMeyer · 11/10/2013 09:59

I hate soft play. I feel your pain. Do they not sell socks? Ours does, because you can't go into the frame without them.

I have just been walking around a car supermarket in the pouring rain looking for a replacement car for DH, as his is old and unreliable and we need a newer one. I am clearly the invisible woman, as no one came to try and sell me one, and when I searched out a salesman, told him what I was looking for etc he still didn't try and sell me anything. So I have come home to search on the internet from the comfort of my sofa.

If your DD could sting children I would ask to borrow her as there are several little kids I know who could do with a sting!

Report
Raahh · 11/10/2013 10:20

Grin I may hire her out.

They sell kids sicks( which would probably fit my titchy feet), but I am keeping my boots firmly on until the inevitable collision when I will gave to rescue someone. So far, she keep stealing me to go away and even the juice and biscuit hasn't brought her back. Result!!

Raahh · 11/10/2013 10:21

Sicks? Oh ffs, I give upGrin

We fell asleep watching truckers last night and had train delays so didn't manage to watch doctors when home. Walked the dogs then took ds2 to gymnastics sat in traffic taking ds2 to my mums so he could have tea there as ds1 was, my evening just disappeared!

I really should look up that thread sounds very rude to me!

I love soft play, probably a good job considering what Ido for a living! Could sit and watch children all day, especially if I'm not responsible for them Grin

I see your soft playplay and car shopping and raise you...a harvest festival! That's where I've been this morning. At the twins school. Everyone was invited to come and place their food donations at the front. What had I sent the boys in with?

Colgate! Blush

It asked for toothpaste on the letter but all the head kept banging on about was the food.

Will nobody think of the teeth?! Grin

DD2 was actually great at softplay today- she practically left me alone for nearly 2 hoursGrin. She didn't maim anybody, or get maimed, and didn't mither for money for the annoying peppa pig carGrin

MsN- our HF is next Friday. We got the usual list today of stuff they want. i will send something decent too- but it will be a good opportunity to get rid of the tin of mushroom soup that dh inexplicably purchased.Hmm None of us eat mushrooms. They are the Vegetables of Satan.
