cinnamon I'm main wage earner and if I can't go back on medical grounds it rights off most potential jobs without starting again. I'd actually like to start a different path but so far don't know what. I don't want to hunt out of desperation.

Would it help if you had a look around for a different path. Not with the intention of doing anything serious about it but just for some ideas.

I've been looking but have no ideas. I went into this work at 18 and have done similar work since but this was least strenuous. I've no alternative qualifications /degree to use to jump into something else and I'm struggling to find a field I can get into to train.

Horse- he's bulimic, it appears. And the stress of bring shown up on his first day as a special plod seems to have triggered it off.

Having suffered from bulimia for over 30 years, it's quite hard to watch (even if it is only Doctors)

I got some really good advice from the ACAS phoneline a couple of months back. At least you would know where you stand and could point the union rep in the right direction if you need to.

There's also some really good people in the employment issues section here. A completely unidentifiable name change that you use only for posting about that might be an option.

Also, is it just your union rep that's crap? The head office might have a members helpline.
