TBFE was pretty scary then.

Zara's character didn't seem interested in Daniel's though. Jimmi was very excited that Lizzie was interested though.

That was just as good as I hoped- and dd2 managed to leave me toit, almost to the end!

Love that they used Zara'a singing as the closing music! This is superb!

I thought Miss Bingley did show her attraction to Darcy - touching his arm and flirting.

I loved that so much! Can't wait for tomorrow's! I wish the whole week was in costume.

Makes me want to watch the Firth / Ehle version of Pride and Prejudice again.

Enjoyed that for the WTF factor but think it might have meant more had I known Austen.

Still hoping for Doctors/Dr Who crossover

Loved TBFE and Daniel in costume. Jimmi looked well creepy with those sideburns and Chris was utterly rubbish and wooden. Gobby was magnificent as I thought she would be, and 6tl and Heston were ace. Loved it. Not so good with the Northanger refs, wish they'd done S&S instead, Jizz would make a suitably silly Marianne

Bloody hell ! I had no idea wtf was going on ! Heston as John Mccruick and 6tl looked like a witch. Could they not find a part for jizz and what about Barry

I thought it seemed more like friends catching up but perhaps I'm not good with subtleties.

My interpretation having never read any Austen before was that Jimmi had got his buddies together to see if one of them fancied marrying his cousins- FOD and random mute girl. They then had a chat with the Gobby and her mates with lemonade on a blanket, followed by some time enjoying themselves playing cards, singing and reading with a bit more flirting in the evening. It was all the mute girls dream after she'd prefer to be in the world of Austen than in real life where some kind of trauma is stopping her talking.

Yep-I loved it. Really showed up the real actors from the amateurs (Zara & 6tl probably the best, then FOD)Loved Heston's get up, 6tl did look like a witch, not enough of TBFE (nice name btw Anne)
Hello to newcomers & I didn't know that Elisabeth (Zara) could sing-it looked & sounded great.

When Gobby was in Holby was she Kurt (from Hollyoaks) mum?

& Heston was a regular on Alexi Sayle

Gobby plod has been in loads of police programmes ( think he likes the uniform?)

Freya (who?) was in the woman in black

Chris was in being human

Al was in this & also has been a Slitheen ( we discussed this the other day )

I only vaguely remember Gobby in Holby- although i remember Jeremy Wotsit very well.

Sometimes, i spot people really easily. Other times, I am rubbish (the fact it was years before I realised Heston was in'One Foot in the grave' being a good example of this).

It's was Sarah Jane rather than Dr Who but yes, Al was a Slitheen!

Ahh, Sarah Jane, I loved the Sarah Jane Adventures, (probably more than ds at the time).

I hope today's is as good as yesterday's- I could really do with cheering up. It was my monthly 'breakdown in Asda' moment today- think the staff are getting used to me, they will be providing tissues and a cup of tea by next month.

Ood- yes- it's all coming around a bit soon. We got the kit list yesterday, and he flies out 3 weeks today .All the kids are very excited- all the parents are having second thoughts. Between that,high school applications and Christmas coming, I just wish I could hibernate
