BBC1 Doctors today 2/10/13 - opening music?

Don't want to hijack the current Doctors thread - but can anyone tell me about the haunting music played in the opening sequence? It sounds perfect for a funeral I'm helping to organise.

Agnus dei by Samuel Barber. His own arrangement of his adagio for strings. Several versions on YouTube.

String version Used in various films . Most famous Platoon in 1986 and Lorenzo's Oil in 1992.
