I dunno?

DumbledoresGirl · 24/06/2006 22:36

I missed it today. Is it another 2 parter?

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2006 22:37

yeah she is leaving isnt she

next week is one of 2 parter I think as its finale

tillykins · 24/06/2006 22:37

nah, she won't die cos in the spoiler she was saying it was the last story she would tell

Kathlean · 25/06/2006 08:35

Nah she has signed up for some of series 3 I read (-:

nikkie · 25/06/2006 12:36

But what about the doctors child?

MadamePlatypus · 25/06/2006 19:57

Yes I know! didn't he say something like "oh I've been a father". Do you think they just threw that in to tease people or are they going to follow it up? I think Rose might die, but as its sci fi they can always make up a reason for bringing her back somehow.

ScummyMummy · 25/06/2006 20:01

it's her last series, i think.

nikkie · 25/06/2006 20:01

OMG
and
NO!!!!!!!!!!!

ScummyMummy · 25/06/2006 20:04

I can really see her as Sally Lockhart though. Good casting.

nikkie · 25/06/2006 20:19

Can't believe they'd kill her off though, not when its a series for kids as well
MInd you I can't see Rose choosing to stay home either.

nutcracker · 25/06/2006 20:30

I really hope they don't kill her off, Ds will be so upset.

drdad · 25/06/2006 21:21

Nerd note:

I think the line about having been a father might just be an in-reference for Who obsessives. In the very first episodes with William Hartnell as the Doctor, he travelled with his granddaughter, Susan.

ScummyMummy · 25/06/2006 21:24

Nice nerd note, drdad.

You're right nutty, that's a real worry for me too. My sons are a lot more sensitive than they care to let on, I fear.

Kathlean · 25/06/2006 22:17

Ah well I take it back. I am surprised they are killing her off but I don't think the chemistry has worked between the pair of them in this series.

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 25/06/2006 22:17

Dh is a right sad Dr Who fan and said something about an arly Dr Who having a grand daughter, which would explain the I was a father comment.

i think Rose will die, Dh thinks she will be left / trapped in the parallel universe that intermingles with the earth.

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 25/06/2006 22:17

(just saw Dr Dad saying same thing- said DH was a saddo)

expatinscotland · 25/06/2006 22:17

too bad david tennant's character won't . . .

puff · 25/06/2006 22:19

rofl expat

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 25/06/2006 22:23

David tennat, or his character ExPat?

Coz I get (like who on MN doesn't LOL) you don't like dear david, but Dr Who without the Dr? Hmmmmm

DumbledoresGirl · 26/06/2006 09:10

Dream on Expat!

bresha · 26/06/2006 09:38

I?m shocked that rose is going to die! My dd loves her and will be really upset.
I?m hoping peachyclaire dh is right and she dose get left in a parallel universe or some thing like that

Bomper · 26/06/2006 13:11

I am quite worried about dd1 watching this actually, she LOVES Rose and will be really upset to see her die!! I just hope she realises that it is not real!!

2shoes · 26/06/2006 15:16

i do remeber years ago one of dr who's sidekicks died he was played by the bloke who played joe sugden in emerdale.

The William Hartnell Dr did travel with his 'granddaughter', but I didn't think it was really his grand daughter - have to google now and find out!

I think Billie Piper is going to play 'Sally Lockhart' from the series by Philip Pullman, so she is still going to be playing an action heroine on TV if that makes any of you feel any better
