Yes, it was a good one. Don't usually watch it but ds is doing pre-war Germany for History and it seemed relevant.

Yes, I saw it. I thought it was very well done. This was a case where you could see how hard the researchers must have worked to trace back the various aspects of her mother's career and family's immediate past history. Weren't the various historians wonderfully gentle in revealing the sensitive aspects of what had happened?

Yes, I thought so too. It was painfully obvious what would have happened to so many of the people they were discussing, but they handled it very sensitively. Perhaps they are used to dealing with a lot of folk tracing their links to the Holocaust and have acquired the necessary experience.
