Now I have been watching this show for years and years so why is it just now that I am having a bit of a lust over Marcus?

definitely just you! he's horrible- so miserable and bleh all the time. him and maria most be the most depressed soap couple ever.

hoppingmad · 09/09/2013 23:24

I agree it's just you - in fact I think they missed a great opportunity with the fire ... I have a list of people who should've joined sunita and he is on it along with half the cast just now
I wish corrie would go back to being more lighthearted

Tim & Sally
Faye & all associated family members
The racism story line - wtf

Why do I even watch it anymore Confused

sonlypuppyfat · 09/09/2013 23:31

It has gone a bit down hill lately I'm just watching it out of habit I think, waiting for it to pick up!

Grin
Monty27 · 09/09/2013 23:45

He's quite attractive, until he speaks, his character is bland.
Maria is stunning looking but has very little between the ears imo.

It isn't real life though. (so if they read, please don't take offence Grin)

sonlypuppyfat · 09/09/2013 23:49

His characcter is bland yes I give you that, but mmm yes I do think he is attractive.

OP posts:
MortifiedAdams · 09/09/2013 23:49

He is like a drip of water in human form.

sonlypuppyfat · 09/09/2013 23:55

I am very alone on this

OP posts:
Monty27 · 09/09/2013 23:57

But he is only acting.

I wonder if he's all macho, witty, intelligent, caring and loving in real life.. mmmmm

Wouldn't say no Grin

sonlypuppyfat · 10/09/2013 10:41

I wouldn't have thought macho !

OP posts:
valiumredhead · 10/09/2013 10:50

Ewww, just you!Grin

sonlypuppyfat · 10/09/2013 11:18

I think the racism line was a way to get Paul written out. That relationship was going nowhere and there was no chemistry between him and Eileen.

sonlypuppyfat · 10/09/2013 13:56

The actor who played Paul does lots of voice over work, bit where he belongs really!

OP posts:
hoppingmad · 10/09/2013 14:06

It was cringy from the start really, the secret wife but he wasn't really cheating - yuck

StephenFrySaidSo · 10/09/2013 14:15

Yes paul was always a bit icky for me.

BubbleBathFoam · 10/09/2013 15:59

Every time Paul was on screen I just kept remembering him as the dad in Hollyoaks. Definitely can't see the attraction to Marcus - sorry!

Sally and Tim are just icky. Fair play Sally likes doing her rounds. I find her over-bearing to watch at times.

YourMaNoBraBackOfMyCar · 10/09/2013 16:28

Has Paul and his windcheater really gone? We have this with Eileen periodically don't we? The next phase is Eileen being a faghag supremo and rampant grump. She was too chirpy. I saw her in real life going in to burgerking. I smiled. It wasn't reciprocated. Cow. :o
