Ok, I like the fact they are back in front of the judges in the closed room. But they have ruined it, by still putting the acts in front of the braying masses-IN ARENAS!!!Grin

But I will still watch- I like having Mrs O back, not sure Barry is keenGrin

I will miss Phiff/FillGrin

And tomorrow- in case they don't remind us- they will be in front of 4000 people . In an ARENAGrin

(arena is one of those words that starts to look wrong after wou've written it a few times).

I missed it last week - was there something about arenas? Grin

SuePurblybilt · 07/09/2013 16:24

I am in. But tonight is the ROOM auditions, not the ARENA. And according to the SoS, chocko fullo' returning auditionees, most of whom I don't recognise. But Scottish Badger Amy is amongst them.

Hair-rocker Fhif will be missed. My money says wildcard.

GlaikitFizzog · 07/09/2013 16:30

Ooh is Amy back again? Third time lucky for her??

Raahh · 07/09/2013 16:59

Scottish badger Amy? Surely she should have figured out by now, she's not going to win? Grin

Mind you, I'm still shocked at how fantastic they thought the last girl was last week. I just thought she was shouty- so I clearly know nowtGrin

They need more failed popstars auditioning, like on the Voice. So Nicole can pretend he recognises a random boyband member from the 80's.

Fiff would be a much better wild card than Nanfucker was, much more entertainingGrin

I loved Fiffffff's mum though- I bet she's desperate for himto leave home. She's probably a real rocker- like Suzie QuattroGrin.

He reminded me of the bloke in the sitcom 'Dear John' who was all gobby and full of himself, but dressed like an old man at home, and got his crusts cut off by his mum.

I may be over thinking it, am slightly Fiffff obsessed

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 07/09/2013 17:06

I am Fhif obsessed too. Which 80s sitcom actor does he look like? Cos it's not Bread - but it should be. Not the Young Ones. Whoooooooo?
I bet you a whole pound he'll be back.

The other returners are a girl from Dublin, the 'Dolly rockers', Amy someone and others who went to judges pretendy houses and were instantly forgotten when the tears dried. It's only on for an hour, so between the returners and the ad breaks, that's yer lot.

OP posts:
Raahh · 07/09/2013 17:16

But yes, he does lookat lot like someone- the older son on 'Butterflies'? (the one who wasn't Nicholas Lyndhurst?)

NoelHeadbands · 07/09/2013 17:20

I'm in! I'm so excited I missed last week

SuePurblybilt · 07/09/2013 17:25

No , not him

I was very drawn to the Wedding Singer but it's not that I'm thinking of - just something similar.
Cor, this is as difficult as 'which humanoid Muppet does NanFucker most resemble?'

Raahh · 07/09/2013 17:35
Grin

they do not realise the mistake they have made , ditching Pfiffff. Grin

I know. The scope he offered for Foreigner tributes. The pleather opportunities missed. Finally, a use for all the staging they bought for Wanger (remember the Harley propped up stage left?). The fire-y images that could have been played on the big screen.
Who will murder 80s soft rock classics now? WHITHER HAIR ROCK, X FACTOR? WHERE HAVE ALL THE MULLETS GONE?
It's all very disappointing.

NoelHeadbands · 07/09/2013 18:04

Aves-vous un photo of this Fiff geezer?

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 07/09/2013 18:48

I may be late - am watching Strictly first.

Raahh · 07/09/2013 19:11

Noel
Fil Henley

He's a one man Silvikrin commercial.

OP posts:
NoelHeadbands · 07/09/2013 19:17

Wow. He's....impressive!

Not seeing any old sitcom actors though, I think I need to see him in action iyswim

Raahh · 07/09/2013 19:20

Jessie J is on Strictly. Grrr.

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 07/09/2013 19:21

You SO do, Noel. Like Alan Partridge in a soft rock wig, he was. Fabulous.
I do hate JJ so very much. It's not healthy, really.

SuePurblybilt · 07/09/2013 19:22

And where did they bus the rent-a-mosh in from? TOTP circa 1998?
can't see the Strickly audience headbanging and bouncing with matching wristbands on. Suspiciously in time.

Raahh · 07/09/2013 19:43

I'm enjoying the total 'omg not him/her ' faces some of the Strictly slebs are pulling. Totally gutted, and knowing they have no chance of winningGrin

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 07/09/2013 19:44

They all look spectacularly underwhelmed
And Bruce having a small spluttery perve at some of the pairings

Raahh · 07/09/2013 19:49

And Rod Stewart, singing some cringey autobiographical shit. Bloody hell, why???

OP posts:
Raahh · 07/09/2013 19:49

(I love Strictly, but feel Ican't gate-crash the official thread. I'll still to be a FactoretteGrin)
