I really want to like it. It's written by Aaron Sorkin, ffs. It should be good, but it's just not. Or am I missing something?

I liked the first series although, as I recall, it was a slow burner.

Felt Emily Mortimer was very miscast though.

I like the political newsy stuff, I just can't stand the relationship stuff and the simpering women. And the whole misunderstanding things thing. Sorry, I can't think of a better way to describe it, but it's very soapy in the way that nobody tells anybody how they really feel. And it adds nothing to the storyline. Grrrr.
