Blandmum · 17/06/2006 19:55

well wierd!

melsy · 17/06/2006 19:55

YUERCH YUERCH YUERCH and yes made me feel sick and teary ALWAYS hated that programme. Cant get that horrid thing out my head , wish dh didnt have it on.

mousiemousie · 17/06/2006 20:00

I fancy Marc Warren so it was fine for me Wink

cupcakes · 17/06/2006 20:13

I was rather tearful at the end too. Missed David Tennant though.

Turquoise · 17/06/2006 20:16

I rather liked it - one for the 40 something geek generation I thought. My kids hated it.

Bomper · 17/06/2006 20:32

I'm sorry - this series of Dr Who just isn't 'doing it' for me Sad Love David Tennant, almost as good as
Christopher Ecclestone Grin, but the storylines have been shite IMO. The only ones I have like have been the one with Sarah Jane and K9 (bawled my eyes out!!) and the Cybermen episodes.

LIZS · 17/06/2006 20:34

ds got rather bored .

Dior · 17/06/2006 20:35

Damn, I meant to record it for Marc Warren Angry Blush

nikkie · 17/06/2006 20:37

My dds just sat there stunned at the end.
"But why wasn't the doctor around?"

peachyClair · 17/06/2006 20:41

I enjoyed it, boys a bit annoyed though.

Dh got abit narky as the chap had athe same job and musical inclinations as him. PMSL!!!!!!!!

Cappucino · 17/06/2006 20:49

didn't like the end

thought it was a bit rich expecting the poor bloke to be faithful to a paving stone for the rest of his life

peachyClair · 17/06/2006 20:50

LOL Cappucino- that did make me larf!

And the erm, love life!!!!!!! PMSL

PanicPants · 17/06/2006 20:51

Not enough of David Tennant :(

peachyClair · 17/06/2006 20:54

Have to agree with that PP

But then, as I am fond of saying

I have already seen him semi naked in RL, so there LOL! Wink

rosebea · 17/06/2006 20:54

I thought the bit at the end with him sat there holding the slab towards his groin and saying that they even have a "love life" was great. The blond guy freaks me out though and also not enough David Tennant!Grin

purplemonkeydishwasher · 17/06/2006 20:55

I've never watched Dr Who before. Had no interest really. But I am LOVING this series! I thought this episode was really good. Different, but enjoyable.

flibbertygibbet · 17/06/2006 20:56

We didn't watch it today, as ds1 has been horrid all day, so I banned it.
I just don't get Dr Who at all - it leaves me completely cold. But ds1 loves it: usually; when he behaves well enough to be allowed to watch it.

LIZS · 17/06/2006 20:56

peachyClair Envy . Tell us more....

DumbledoresGirl · 17/06/2006 20:59

I did miss DT of course (as one of his Mumsnet girls!) but I thought the story was pretty good - better than last week's which I did not really understand at all Blush. Ds1 wasn't too impressed though. he pronounced today's episode as boring and said it wasn't scary at all (thank goodness for that, think I, who has had to deal with frightened ds1 many a night before this).

peachyClair · 17/06/2006 21:00

LOL!

On stage unfortunately, but i did get to chat to him after in a post show discussion (he was in Look back In Anger at Bath, very good, although I resisted chance to ask if he thought Jimmy needed Ritalin the way he played it)
