PMSL at the vision of Jackie Chan on crack freaking out and drowning Richard. Would Pete be against that as much as he was when she tried to kill the insect ?

Say what you like about Richard but IMHO, he does try to calm things down at times, it's just the age difference makes it come across as bossiness/ "Mr know it all" compared to the immature "couldn't give a t0ss about anyone else's feelings" youths in there.

Salamander · 16/06/2006 13:24

Dior - now THAT'S more appropriate

he isn't EVIL.

Dior · 16/06/2006 13:25

Love the 'who claims to be a stockbroker' bit of the article! I was always dubious...

Enid · 16/06/2006 13:26

or maybe Pete could 'street theatre' them all to death

Dior · 16/06/2006 13:27

Ah but Pete is hilarious. I loved the clip from the Diary Room last night, with the 'Mieow, purr' in it...so funny and sweet. I can imagine it would get irritating all day though.

Enid · 16/06/2006 13:29

yes he is funny - liked his picture of suzi

he is a bit wet though

glyn is so obviously going to win, especially as Mikey is too dim to put him up for eviction

imaginaryfriend · 16/06/2006 13:41

Glynn to win??? Nah ... It's going to be Pete for sure.

Hey imagine this for a boring scenario: the only housemates left = Imogen and Glynn. Or Imogen and Mikey.

... zzzzzzz ...

Salamander · 16/06/2006 13:42

Enid

ALL of the housemates are entitled to be bitchy - even the teenage girls

it's the level of bitchiness and the type that causes people offence I believe.

imaginaryfriend · 16/06/2006 13:44

With Grace I don't think it's even just the bitchiness it's the spoilt brattiness. And the sulky punched washcloth expression.

LucyJones · 16/06/2006 13:46

really hopeno one throws anything at Grace tonight. Not on imo
I don't really want either of them to go.

beansprout · 16/06/2006 13:49

I love Richard's constant distinction - when they say stuff they are being bitchy and when he does it he is just observing things about them. Wtf?!!

aragon · 16/06/2006 13:54

Nikki is NOT entertaining - she's a shallow, self-centred, whinging nobody who needs to disappear back into obscurity sharpish. I can't take anymore of her whining. Cannot believe she's still in the house - is everyone mad? Kick her out asap.

Oh - that feels better...

eenywifemum · 16/06/2006 13:57

i loved that link about sezer getting thrown in the pool!! Good for his ego!

cupcakes · 16/06/2006 13:58

we all bitch - imagine MN without it - especially about BB contestants. So why is that her worst crime?
I wish they could both stay - they are my favourites - but I'm almost considering voting for Nikki just to reduce Grace's percentage.
We're going to be left with Lea, Suzie and Richard. It's going to be awful.

eenywifemum · 16/06/2006 13:58

Glyn wont win though... Pete will! Glyn might be a close second. I REALLY hope Mikey goes next - he is DULL DULL DULL! Can't stand him! Waste of space!

Salamander · 16/06/2006 14:13

Hear Hear Imaginary!!!

And I loved that Sezer article!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is only pubescent girls that like him after seeing all that footage - poor little things that still haven't got past the bad-boy phase.

Dior · 16/06/2006 14:14

To be fair to him though, he was ashamed of his clips when he saw them. Hopefully he has learnt something.

Salamander · 16/06/2006 14:16

Nothing wrong with having a bit of a bitch - as long as you don't stir up crap....

'Gracie' has done that SOOOOOOO many times

Salamander · 16/06/2006 14:30

Dior
Sezer was ashamed for about a day until he got back to his 'boys' who told him everyone was overreacting an reinstated his stereotypes about women.

You should have seen him on BBLB - it was sickening.

imaginaryfriend · 16/06/2006 14:31

And as somebody said, it's the WAY in which the bitching occurs, some of Grace's comments like calling Suzi 'mutton dressed as lamb' and much worse personal comments about other people physiologically. Well ... would you want to be locked up with her for months?!

LucyJones · 16/06/2006 14:33

I agree that Grace has said some mean things about people's personal appearance. However... I don't think the way the public and press retaliate by pointing out all her flaws shows the youth of today very much about how to behave. It's like saying 'okay you've been nasty so we're going to be a hell of a lot nastier back to you but there's thousands of us'...

imaginaryfriend · 16/06/2006 15:34

No 'course not, Lucy. The media are dreadful. Look what they're doing to Heather Mills? But the BB house is a separate thing and we're discussing how the housemates are behaving towards each other.

Anyway, it'll be crap when she comes out and everyone boos and you remember she's only bloody 20. And then she'll sit in Davina's chair and seem nowhere near as offensive as she did in the house (because they NEVER do!)

Normsnockers · 16/06/2006 15:42

LucyJones

What Grace doesn't seem to have to taken into account is that she is on national television.

When she slags off someone in the house for a particular trait, be it physical or otherwise, she is thereby potentially alienating the whole section of the viewing public who have the same trait. She is broadcasting her despisal of people with this trait to them all so she should expect that thousands will be up in arms over it.

She stated condescendingly (note I didn't say bitched) that Aisleyne has to wear makeup to look good, lots of women believe that they too need to put on some slap to look presentable, so she demonstrates that she looks down on such women, a lovely way to win the public over, NOT.

Whether or not she recognised Sam as an emotionally needy individual, she picked on her when it was clear that Sam looked up to everyone already in the house, it was like watching a dog owner repeatedly kick their potentially adoring/faithful but not very bright pet.

She appears to be afraid of being seen associating with anyone uncool and as we can't all be the "cool" girls in life, she thereby alienates another massive swathe of the viewing population.

She has brought this on herself as she has already worked in T.V to a certain extent and presumably watched some previous BB's and must surely know abvout editing such that footage of the participants is edited to highlight certain elements of their personality.

Thats' why I don't care if someone tips cow manure over her, she only reaps what she has sown and as I said she is no stranger to the "wannabe" world of T.V.

I still feel sorry for her. She is a reflection of the environment she has grown up in. I don't think she knows what she has done wrong - she warns other people that they need to be careful or the public will think they are two faced but she cannot see it in herself.
