Is anyone watching The Social Network?

Is it my telly or is the sound dreadful? I cannot hear the dialogue over the background racket.

Glad it wasn't just me.
The background racket did stop. (I started to enjoy it, but I dozed off and had to go to bed

I'm 45 and have noticed recently that I'm not good at distinguishing speech from background noise - it must ruin your viewing if your hearing is any worse, which must be the case for a significant percentage of viewers.

Apparently some of the radio networks get a lot of complaints about background music/sound being played over speech.

Also the actor delivered his lines very quickly (good acting IMO) - which didn't help.

I had to put subtitles on when I watched it.
